This time on Teenage Wasteland…

I wake up the show from its nap and get right down to business reviewing two recent reads and plugging some projects. I then introduce a special interview for this show with artist and writer J.T. Yost. J.T. has produced a handful of well-produced mini comics, and I am happy to bring him to you guys in this feature.

Also, Jeff brings it as he discusses Jason Aaron’s Punishermax.

Marvel Noise Episode 134

While your intrepid host is off convening in the wilds of New York City, Stunning Steve Raker returns to discuss Marvel’s excellent ‘Shadowland’ event with Daring Dave K in an hour long extravaganza. However, before the scintillating discourse can commence, the show is hijacked by Derek Coward who blathers aimlessly about the recent price decreases.

The music on the show is “Bela Jane’s Lullaby” by Polyphase. (http://www.polyphaseband.com/)

2 People Talking 80: Derek Loves Talking With His Daughter Jaymie

While Angela is taking some well deserved time off, Derek Coward has enlisted the help of his oldest daughter Jaymie to talk about what it was like growing up his child, the only two comic books she has remembered reading, the movie Catfish, the daytime routine of a single mother, and the Wendy Williams TV show. There is also a very brief cameo by his other daughter Jazmyn.

Invisible Jetcast Episode 4

In another exciting episode of Invisible Jet Cast: We discuss the announcement of a Wonder Woman show, then onto Wonder Woman 603, where Diana fights Gargoyles, or Max Payne villains, or something. Then we move onto listeners e-mail

Monica enjoyed the new issue.
Johnny has questions about the lassos of all the Wonder Women.

Sam wants to know what we think of Squadron Supreme.

Then onto homework. Angela’s pick of Wonder Woman Chronicles 1, what’d we think? And Jon gives us next month’s homework Superman/Batman Apocalypse.

Geek Brunch 119 – That’s What Makes it so Damn Sexy!

We kick off the show with a rousing spoilerific (and explicit) critic of Lars Von Trier’s Antichrist! Do you know what the ending means? We don’t! Then we do a full 180, and review the titillating action flick Bitch Slap, and the rather strange Gentlemen Broncos! Surveillance does; I hate those. We also discuss Survival of the Dead, The Social Network, Bitten, Shutter Island, and Catfish. Then we move on to reviews of many of the new TV shows, including Hawaii 5-0, Raising Hope, Outsourced, Chase, S* my Dad Says and the new seasons of Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Brave and the Bold, and Clone Wars. Then we’re on to comics with reviews of Ode to Kirihito, Taskmaster #1, Tumor HC, Chew Volume 2, Victorian The Undead, Crossed, Hack Slash, and Superf*ckers! Join Mike, Bill, and Micah on one of our most vulgar episodes ever! Plus, pot roast! And which sugar is best for you! We also bring up how to teach kids sports.
