Doughnuts and Top Cow Episode 9 – Cyberforce/Hunter-Killer

A listener suggested that we check out the Cyberforce/Hunter-Killer Trade Paperback, and we’re glad that we did! Josh and John walk through the book with some interesting talking points . . . one of which might even surprise Top Cow Publisher Filip Sablick!

We also touch briefly on the Volume 1 collected Hunter-Killer.

Doughnuts this week come in the form of the Chocolate Assortment from Entenmann’s.

Music on this episode is “Donut Man” by the Dickies. Podsafe music courtesy of MusicAlley. Check them out and buy the track, if you’re so inclined!

Thanks, as always to Westfield Comics for their support!

Wolverine Berserker Podcast Episode 2: Blame Canada

Wolverine Berserker PodcastWe welcome Nate to the crew this second episode of the new podcast. After scheduling issues we attempt to stay awake into the wee hours of the night to get this one finished. There’s a failed attempt at a decent Top 5 and we have a short discussion about the upcoming X-Men: First Class movie, which Wolverine will NOT be in. We also have a new voicemail number and I chose it just to spite my co-hosts and to show them who’s boss. There’s a little too much Spidey talk, and that will no longer be tolerated (let’s all look at the new guy). Since I couldn’t come up with a good name for the episode, I’ll blame Nate and since he’s Canadian, I blame Canada.

NEW Voicemail Number: (424) 704-3667 [DOOP]

Books Covered: Wolverine #5.1, Wolverine #1000, Daken #5, Wolverine: The Best There Is #3, X-Men #7

Throwbacks: Wolverine (Vol. 2) #4-6

Intro: Nature of the Beast by The Angels

Comic Book Noise 235: Podcastus Interruptus

Host Derek Coward is interrupted a couple of times during the show, but still is able to get off a good reason why he won’t be reading The New Krypton Saga and tells everyone how they can pay for a free podcast.
