The subject of this podcast is CLASSIFIED. You know how some comic book solicitations say nothing about the book itself? Sometimes they even leave out the cover images. I always wondered if they did it to try and drum up some curiosity. However, now I think that the deadline came for the solicitation and the guy who writes them didn’t get the information he needed. I’m not saying that happened in this instance, but I wouldn’t be surprised.
I’m pretty sure Mike, Keith and Darrell didn’t talk about this comic book, but we needed an image for the show and this is the first one that came up when you put ‘dc comic book cover’ into Google Images and select the Large option. This originally came from Robot6 over at Comic Book Resources.

We’re joined in the studio by Jimmy Hayes (@JimmyPSHayes on Twitter) and Jason Punswick (@jpun2814 on Twitter). We take a close look at Witchblade #146 and the really cool Babylonian mysticism written in there by Ron Marz! (Special research thanks to the Gateways to Babylon website!)
We have a bonus with our Doughnuts today . . . a real, live Pastry Chef! Alissa Wallers from Chicago joins us to talk about technique and how good today’s treats from Lane’s Bakery in Madison are!
Music on this episode is “Donut Man” by the Dickies. Podsafe music courtesy of MusicAlley. Check them out and buy the track, if you’re so inclined!
Thanks, as always to Westfield Comics for their support
